The Central European University and the University of Barcelona will share their experience in the field.
«Collaboration and strategic approaches in university initiatives with refugee population» is the title for the sixth and last webinar organized by the University of Barcelona within the inHERE project (Higher Education Supporting Refugees in Europe). It took place on Monday, June 11, 2018, at 4 p.m. (CET).
The aim of the seminar was to share the experiences of the “OLIve Initiative”, carried out by the Central European University (CEU), and the “Refugee Support Programme”, of the University of Barcelona (UB), going deeper into their processes of internal and external collaboration and their strategic approaches and discussing the different situations that Higher Education Institutions (HEI) face throughout these initiatives.

The webinar, which was given in English, was aimed at members of university communities (teaching staff or PDI, administration and service staff or PAS, and students) who carry out or want to carry out any project or activity in order to ease the access to HEI for the refugees. The event is also opened to those in the University community who are interested in these initiatives.
Webinars are framed within the second output of this project, the Living Lab, which is led by the University of Barcelona. Their purpose is to share, exchange, assess and create joint initiatives, projects and activities for the university community to promote the integration of the refugee students in HEI.
