In the frame of the project “European Centre for Refugee Integration in Higher Education” (EUCRITE), Politecnico di Torino is pleased to invite participants to attend the upcoming conference on “Perspectives, Challenges & Practices for Integrating Displaced Students in European Universities”, in collaboration with Aalto University (Finland), Grenoble Institute of Technology (France), Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium), Darmstadt University of Technology (Germany), Graz University of Technology (Austria). The conference will take place on 14th June 2018 in Castello del Valentino, Torino (Italy).
Sapienza University of Rome is organizing, in collaboration with UNHCR, a Conference "Integration of Refugees in Europe: the role of Universities" which will be held in Rome on April 17, 2018, starting at 9.00 am in the Great Hall of Sapienza.
Fourth webinar of the Living Lab is on «Preparatory courses/Bridging courses and Online Learning Initiatives addressed to refugee students». Speakers will be from the University Paris1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and the KIRON Open Higher Education. Webinars are framed within the second part of this project, the Living Lab, which is led by the University of Barcelona.
Staff Training Week organised by Sapienza University in collaboration with UNIMED, aimed at strengthening knowledge sharing, peer-support and academic partnership to facilitate integration and access of refugees in European Higher Education Institutions. It will take place in Rome on April 16-20, 2018.
Third webinar of the Living Lab is on «Socioeconomic integration of refugees». Speakers will be from the Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (Germany) and the University of Bradford (United Kingdom). Webinars are framed within the second part of this project, the Living Lab, which is led by the University of Barcelona.
